Water Resources Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineer to manage our Water Resources practice in Central Florida. The successful candidate will have at least 12 years of progressive experience managing projects, people and financials. Further, this individual will have the following skills and abilities:
- Experience in the design, project management and construction oversight of water resources and stormwater management projects including watershed modeling and permitting.
- Develop and grow our Water Resources practice.
- Identify new business opportunities for the firm, coordinate and participate in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes firm's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.
- Direct project team and client compliance with contract terms and monitor subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
- Prepare project work plan, scope, schedule and budget, and communicate with project team members; monitor project production for compliance with schedule, budget and quality objectives.
- Monitor client billings, assist in obtaining payment from clients, and resolve client disputes, adjusting project billing records as required.
- Monitor subconsultants' progress and performance, review and approve subconsultant and vendor invoices, and resolve payment and project disputes.
- Reports financial status of projects to Board of Directors.
Requirements
Successful candidates will be a licensed Professional Engineer (in Florida) with a B.S. degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
Candidate should have a track record of managing projects, clients and people
PE license in the state of Florida is required
